RM1900.00

Program Overview

This two-day training program equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in AI prompt engineering. Delivered through a blend of guided instruction, hands-on activities, and real-world application, the curriculum covers the systematic use of Large Language Models (LLMs) — from foundational prompt construction to advanced iterative techniques. Participants will leave with a repeatable framework for leveraging AI tools effectively, responsibly, and confidently in their daily work.

Learning Outcome

  • Understand the structure and function of effective AI prompts and apply the P.T.C.F. (Persona, Task, Context, Format) framework to construct precise, purposeful prompts.

  • Distinguish between and apply various prompting techniques including Zero-shot, Few-shot, Multi-shot, and Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting strategies across different work scenarios.

  • Iteratively refine and debug AI conversations to improve output quality through structured follow-up prompting and systematic refinement techniques.

  • Apply role-specific AI prompting to real departmental scenarios using own data, and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in line with responsible AI practices.

  • Collaborate in group settings to analyse case studies, develop AI-powered workflows, and present findings to peers.
