Smart Industrial Automation & Robotics: From Fundamentals to Industry 4.0 Implementation
Industrial automation is no longer limited to programmable logic controllers and standalone machines, it has evolved into an interconnected ecosystem of intelligent systems, data-driven decision-making, and human–machine collaboration. As manufacturing transitions toward smart factories, engineers and technical professionals must move beyond traditional control systems and develop competencies in robotics, industrial networking, and digital integration. This 10-day intensive program is designed to bridge that gap. It provides a structured progression from core automation principles such as sensors, actuators, and PLC programming to advanced topics including SCADA, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), collaborative robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies like Industrial IoT and predictive analytics. Participants will gain both theoretical understanding and practical exposure, enabling them to design, operate, and optimize modern automated systems. Through hands-on sessions and real-world case studies in areas such as semiconductor packaging and SMT manufacturing, the program equips learners with the skills needed to support digital transformation initiatives and improve operational efficiency in today's competitive industrial landscape.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
Understand full automation architecture (sensor → enterprise)
Program basic PLC and interface with HMI
Work with industrial communication protocols
Apply robotics and cobot fundamentals
Design and justify automation solutions
Interpret Industry 4.0 technologies in real applications
