Measurement System Analysis & Statistical Process Control (MSA & SPC)
This two-day course integrates Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC), providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of these essential quality management tools. The course covers techniques for both continuous and attribute (discrete) data, enabling participants to evaluate measurement systems, monitor processes, and interpret results confidently. By bridging MSA and SPC, this course equips participants with a holistic framework to ensure accurate data collection and effective process control, helping them address challenges from customers or auditors.
Recap basic statistical concepts foundational to MSA and SPC.
Evaluate measurement systems for both continuous and attribute data.
Use control charts to monitor and maintain process stability.
Calculate and interpret process capability indices (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk) for continuous data and proportion non-conforming (PnC) for attribute data.
Integrate MSA and SPC methodologies to improve data-driven decision-making.
Module 1: Basic Statistics Recap Participants will review fundamental statistical concepts, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing. |
Module 2: Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Participants will evaluate the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of continuous and attribute measurement systems. |
Module 3: Statistical Process Control (SPC) Participants will select and interpret suitable control charts for monitoring continuous and attribute data. |
Module 4: Process Capability Analysis Participants will assess process performance and capability using continuous and attribute data models. |
Duration
2 days | 64 hours
Methodology
Physical face-to-face, dynamic training and development.
Target Audience
Suitable for individuals who require intermediate level of knowledge and skills in Measurement System Analysis and Statistical Process Control.
Progress with Compassion.
We exist at the intersection of technical mastery and human development, because we believe these are not two separate things. They never were.
