AI for Operational Excellence

RM1900.00

Program Overview

At the end of this programme, participants will be equipped with a practical, non-technical understanding of Artificial Intelligence — what it is, how it works, and how to apply it within their own roles and departments. Designed specifically for engineers and operational managers in the automotive manufacturing industry, this 2-day experience moves beyond theory and buzzwords into real use cases, live tool demonstrations, and a structured workshop where every participant maps AI directly onto a process. Participants leave not just informed, but action-ready — with a completed AI Use Case Canvas, a 90-day pilot plan, and the confidence to champion AI adoption within their teams.

Learning Outcome

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:

  • Explain AI confidently — in plain language, separating fact from hype without technical jargon.

  • Identify AI opportunities in their own workflows using the repeatable–data-rich–measurable filter.

  • Recognise AI applications in automotive manufacturing — quality control, predictive maintenance, supply chain, and process optimisation.

  • Use AI tools today — including ChatGPT, Copilot, and no-code platforms, with basic prompt engineering skills.

  • Understand AI project lifecycle — from idea to pilot to scale, and how to avoid the most common failure points.

  • Build an AI business case — scope a pilot, set KPIs, assess data readiness, and present to leadership.

  • Make strategic AI decisions — on team roles, budgeting, and build vs. buy vs. partner choices.

  • Complete an AI Use Case Canvas — a real, scoped AI opportunity from the workflow.
